The Importance of Preschool Education System as a Tool for Harmonization of Family and Working Life of Mothers

The diploma thesis deals with the relationship between the system of pre-school care and the posi- tion of women with small children on the labor market in the Czech Republic. The purpose of this thesis is to find out whether the insufficient capacity of pre-school care facilities has a negative im- pact on the employment of Czech women and which other determinants can affect the employment of women with small children. The analysis uses an individual data from the Labor Force Survey in 2013 supported by data from the Czech Statistical Office and the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. At first, this thesis deals with demographic development of the population after 1990. Following is the definition of pre-school care system in the Czech Republic and a description of the development of the availability of pre-school care services. Diploma thesis is then devoted to the situation of women with small children in the labor market and to the potential negative impacts associated with the limited possibilities for harmonizing family and work life balance. Finally, an analysis is made. As a result, we can sum up that there is no significant impact of the lack of availa- bility of pre-school care on young children mother's ability to work. The financial balance of the preschool child care system in the Czech Republic

The thesis deals with the development of availability of preschool childcare in the Czech Republic after 1990 and its relation to the harmonization of family and working life of women. The aim of this work is to identify possible future perspectives of this development and its potential impact on the economy of the country. In the introduction, it is firstly outlined how the demographic development and the approach to family policy changed in the Czech Republic after 1990. After that follow a specification of the system of preschool care in the Czech Republic and an analysis of development of the availability of preschool childcare and of employment of women in the labour market. For the estimation of future development, a projection of potential candidates for preschool care services and a projection of expected number of mothers with young children in 2020 are conducted. The results of the projections indicate that the current capacity of kindergartens could be sufficient already in the school year 2019/2020, in the context of the decreasing number of live births. Nevertheless, the Czech Republic is likely to fail to fulfil timely the objectives of the European Union for the minimum participation of children in preschool education based on the Barcelona criteria and the strategy Europe 2020. The support of the preschool children’s care

This thesis deals with the support of the preschool children's care. The main aim of this work is to focus on the support of facilities such as nursery schools and kindergartens. The theoretical part is concerned with the problems of family as such and its support made by the state. The thesis further is focused on the search for importance of preschool facilities for all involved subjects including family, government, municipalities and companies, followed by the introduction of various forms of the extra familiar care with an emphasis on private services. In the practical part of the thesis, there is analysed the demand and supply of childcare services by demographic, regional and economic development. It points out the main problems in this area and compares the Czech system with European states. The final section presents new directions, where the area is approaching. It also brings an appraisal with findings that without the support of the state surveyed area cannot be developed further. Suggestions how to improve the whole system are mentioned as well.
Nursery school in mother center - one of the options of preschool

The aim of the work is to make a general view of a particular preschool. In the theoretical part, the possibilities of preschool care are given. The options of preschool children are mapped and moreover, the legislative bounds of preschool are stated as the possible alternative of kindergarden. The work also deals with describing psychology of a preschool child. The practical part provides the perspective of participanrs since the respondents were parents making use of ?Button Preschool? for their children.
Education child with autism and cerebral palsy at Kindergarten, Horáčkova in Prague.

The Bachelor's Dissertation is divided into two parts. The theoretical part includes the outlining of the autism syndrome and its specific symptoms at preschool children with this diagnosis. The life of a family with a child with the PAS syndrome and relating possibilities of preschool care for children with PAS in the Czech Republic are discribed within th framework of this Dissertation as well. The Dissertation states also the most frequent methods used during the work with children with PAS in the preschool age, demonstrations of problematic behaviour and possible approaches to its solution. The practical part of the Bachelor's Dissertation deals with specified targets. The objectives were achieved with the help of the qualitative research method, namely the case study. This research was using research approaches: observation, content analysis of data and structured interviews with parents, pedagogical staff in the class and personal asistants of the boy. The target sample was a boy with autism and infantile cerebral palsy The first aim is a partical demonstration of functioning of a peschool facility for children with PAS. It namely concerns a description of functioning of a class for chidren with autistic spectrum disruptions at the Kindergarten, Horáčkova street in Prague. The Dissertation describes the method of structured learning and solution to certain types of problematic behaviour occurring at children attending this class. The other aim was casuististics of the autistic boy with infantile cerebral palsy, who attends the autistic spectrum disruptions at the Kindergarten, Horáčkova street in Prague. This objective deals with the issues of assingnment of a child with multiple dysfunctions in institutions of special pedagogical care and indicates practical possibilities of general development of the child with multiple dysfunctions, at the same time the Dissertation describe various difficulties relating to the general care for children with multiple dysfnctions. Th concerned chapter contains also finding possibilities for further continuation of the child's education.
